Special project: news tab
In 2009, I designed one of The Sun's most ambitious (especially in the turbulent economic climate) editorial projects: We produced a 100% editorial tab — no advertising whatsoever — chronicling past and present incidents of corruption in San Bernardino County. My challenge: to create a tasteful, inviting visual style for a special section that had a lot of text and not much in the way of photography (mugshots mostly) or other visuals.
